JOB SUMMARY
Primarily responsible for analyzing energy market settlements, transmission settlements, and transmission congestion rights management in the Southwest Power Pool (SPP) Regional Transmission Organization (RTO). Specific responsibilities include overseeing the download, validation and shadow of energy market settlement statements, transmission customer and owner statements, and execution of required processes. Analyzes energy and congestion market performance and identifies trends and opportunities for improvement. Consistent and reliable attendance is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND CORE COMPETENCIES
- Validates and reviews energy market settlement statements and works closely with peers to develop and revise short-term and long-term market strategies.
- Validates and submits meter data and ensures compliance with all timelines.
- Develops, updates, and distributes reports and other relevant information as required.
- Validates invoices/vouchers and processes for approval/payment.
