Engineer – ($81,166 - $101,458) Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Engineer III – ($93,342 - $116,678) Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited institution, and at least three years of progressively responsible engineering experience in area of assignment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Senior Engineer – ($107,342 - $134,178) Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited institution, and at least six years of progressively responsible engineering experience in area of assignment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND CORE COMPETENCIES
Responsible for providing engineering support including independent analysis, design and completion of engineering assignments associated with the substation. Specific responsibilities include work order preparation, material selection, bid evaluations, supervision of consulting services, budget projections, preparation of feasibility studies, and creating/updating specifications for associated substation equipment. Leads small to medium projects with minimal guidance. Consistent and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Performs and organizes the design process, drawing development, material acquisition, scheduling, and technology evaluation.
- Designs and implements engineering standards, standard materials, specifications, policies, procedures and guidelines for systems and applications.
- Prepares and presents reports with justification and documentation in recommending courses of action for capital improvement projects, asset management, work methods, materials, and guidelines.
- Assists in the coordination of project details and equipment acquisitions with internal/external customers and outside entities.
- Performs field visits to assess current conditions, future improvements, job progress, problems, potential changes, and/or other related issues.
