We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support engineering, drafting, and digital modeling efforts across multiple infrastructure and facilities projects. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience working with tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM coordination platforms, and SharePoint while assisting with the development, organization, and maintenance of engineering drawings and models. You will support projects related to power supply systems, facility operations, and building infrastructure by updating drawings, verifying field conditions through site visits and scans, organizing project documentation, and assisting with digital modeling and standards development. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience in engineering documentation, BIM workflows, and facility systems while collaborating with engineers, designers, and operations teams on active projects.
JOB SUMMARY
Under direct supervision, performs entry level engineering and operational support duties to include updating records and files, performing office and field research, and assisting with design projects with applicable software. Consistent and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND COMPETENCIES

Under direct supervision, performs updates to Design and Operating system records and databases utilizing applicable software; prepares technical drawings and maintains related records.

Assists with inspecting, collecting, and outputting data and labeling electrical facilities for use with Design and Operating system records in accordance with LES procedures.

As directed, supports project work to ensure accuracy of Geospatial records and assists with research and accumulation of records for projects and reports.

Under direct supervision, modifies engineering construction drawings per field notes, records, and databases utilizing LES standards and procedures. Reports any design or record discrepancies to appropriate personnel.

Assists with field collection data using LiDAR and optical scanning equipment and supports processing of collected data.

Prepares maps, plots, and related outputs for internal departments using Geospatial systems.
