Lincoln Electric System (LES) is looking for an experienced data professional to play a critical role in shaping how we manage and use data across our electric utility. As Principal, Enterprise Data Management, you will work across business and technology teams to strengthen enterprise data practices, integrate data considerations into projects and technology decisions, and help ensure trusted, useful data is available to support operations, analytics, and decision-making. We're looking for a collaborative, self-directed professional who can bring people together, turn strategy into action, and help build an enterprise data capability that will grow with LES.
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for advancing enterprise data management practices across LES through cross-functional collaboration, facilitation, and integration with business and technology processes. Works across organizational boundaries to help operationalize the enterprise data strategy, improve visibility into data assets and dependencies. Promotes consistent data management practices that support business operations, decision-making, analytics, and future technology initiatives. Partners with business stakeholders and technology teams to incorporate data considerations into projects, operational processes, and technology solutions. The position helps identify opportunities to improve the value, accessibility, usability, and stewardship of organizational data (IT and OT) while supporting the development of practical governance, metadata, and information management practices. Serves as a key liaison between business and technology teams, helping ensure data is managed as a strategic organizational asset and positioned to support current and future enterprise needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND COMPENTENCIES

Lead and coordinate efforts to implement and mature enterprise data management practices across the organization in alignment with enterprise data strategy objectives.

Serve as a subject matter expert regarding enterprise data management practices, industry trends, and emerging opportunities related to data, analytics, and information management.

Lead cross-functional engagement among business and technology stakeholders to establish priorities, address challenges, and advance enterprise data management capabilities.

Promote organizational awareness, understanding, and adoption of enterprise data management practices through stakeholder engagement, education, and collaboration.

Identify opportunities to improve the availability, quality, and use of enterprise data to support business operations, analytics, and decision-making.

Partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to incorporate data considerations into project intake, solution design, system implementation, and operational activities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Public Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Seven years of progressively responsible experience in one or more of the following areas: enterprise applications, data management, business analysis, business intelligence, enterprise architecture, process improvement, project delivery, utility operations, or related discipline.

Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and influencing organizational outcomes without direct authority.

An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Preferred: Experience with enterprise data platforms, analytics, visualization, and AI-enabled data technologies (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure data services, Snowflake, Tableau, or similar solutions).
