ESSENTIAL DUTIES & CORE COMPETENCIES
Responsible for day-ahead and real-time operations in the assigned energy market. Specific responsibilities include the creation, modification, and submittal of day-ahead and real-time energy offers, ancillary offers, bilateral settlement schedules, interchange schedules, and demand bids to the appropriate energy market. This position works a 24/7/365 rotating shift schedule during normal, emergency and restoration conditions. Consistent and reliable attendance is required.
- Creates, modifies, and submits day-ahead and real-time energy offers, ancillary offers, bilateral settlement schedules, interchange schedules, and demand bids to the SPP energy market.
- Develops strategies to maximize generating assets and load obligations in the day-ahead and real-time markets.
- Responsible for the start-up, dispatch, and shutdown of generation resources.
- Analyzes energy market performance, identifies trends and opportunities for improvement, and ensures reliability and regulatory compliance.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• Associates degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields, and
