JOB SUMMARY 

Responsible for performing the full range of financial/general ledger accounting functions described in the essential duties and responsibilities. Leads small to medium projects with minimal guidance. Consistent and reliable attendance is required. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND CORE COMPETENCIES 

  • Prepares, reviews, analyzes and distributes financial reports including monthly, semiannual and annual financial and operating statements.  

  • Prepares and enters journal entries to properly record all transactions. 

  • Reconciles accounts and prepares related accounting schedules and reports. 

  • Interfaces with the external auditors including audit work paper preparation. 

  • Prepares various filings including taxes and regulatory reports. 

  • Proficient in automated financial management software (SAP preferred)

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field, and 

  • Two years of general accounting experience, or
